BMW Group has reached a significant milestone with the delivery of its three-millionth electrified vehicle – a landmark achievement in the company’s ongoing journey toward sustainable mobility. The milestone car, a Portimao Blue BMW 330e plug-in hybrid produced at the Munich plant, was handed over at one of our BMW centres this August.
“Delivering our three-millionth electrified vehicle highlights just how central electric and hybrid models have become to the BMW portfolio. Already, more than one in four BMW Group vehicles sold in the first half of 2025 was electrified, underlining our commitment to a technology-neutral, future-ready product strategy.”
— Jochen Goller, Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Customer, Brands, Sales
For our team, the event represented more than just a handover. It was an opportunity to showcase BMW’s leadership in electrification and share in the excitement of a customer joining millions of drivers worldwide who have embraced sustainable driving.
Across our centres, customers can explore the growing range of electrified BMWs and experience the innovation, efficiency, and driving pleasure that defines every model.
A Growing Community of Electrified BMW Owners
Reaching three million electrified vehicles delivered demonstrates the increasing number of drivers choosing sustainable mobility without compromising on performance or luxury. From plug-in hybrids like the 330e to fully electric BMWs such as the iX series, more and more customers are joining the shift toward electrified driving.
We’re proud to support this transition and invite customers to explore the latest electrified models. With many more BMW electric vehicles on the horizon, now is the perfect time to experience the future of driving.
