Car ordered new in September and delivered in early February (happily coinciding with expiry of existing PCP arrangement). Charlotte Boge (sales executive) had a good understanding of our requirements and was a good communicator. Sense of humour too.

Brilliant service. Tech sat in the car whilst I showed them the issue. Diagnosed the fault immediately but said they would need to confirm it. Once a delivery schedule was known for the idrive head unit a hire car was arranged. Car returned clean

Dick Lovett weren't able to register the tyres into the car as the scanner to do this was "broken". Given the amount of intergration between the on-board system in the car and external apps, I would have expected to the there to be more than one.

Service was OK in that parts and oil were changed as expected and was completed in a few hours, however, you have no pick up service, no loan cars available for 3 months and it generally takes weeks or months to get booked in even for an urgent issue

New tyre had not been correctly inflated so had to go to garage and re-inflate Service advisor never proactively kept me apprised of what was going on and did not return calls when I rang to find out. MOT test with new trye required took 2 1/2 days!

I was rang at 10:50am and told the car would be ready to collect at 12:30pm. I arrived around 1pm to collect it, waited in the waiting area for 20 mins, was told it still needed washing so I just told them to forget washing it so I could leave.

Overall satisfaction was less than expected: the courtesy car I was provided with had no fuel and stopped dead on a busy roundabout within approximately a mile. Managed to limp back to BMW garage where, eventually, it was refuelled. Not impressed.

I was booked in for a 2 hour service, which was completed in 1 hour. Car sent for cleaning and it took another 1.75 hours. I asked Melissa what was going on and she checked for the key and had in seconds. She apologised and blamed the computer.

I was concerned to see that only a cursory visual inspection of the outside tyre walls is made. Any responsible driver should check this.The inner wall of the tyres should be inspected for damage at a service. Also the make of tyres was misrecorded.

Online booking was not 100% user friendly. I selected dates that showed as available that suited me but date I was given was none of those I selected. It was not obvious if a courtesy car was an option either. Service on day was great though.

1) Charged for screen wash/top up but tank was near empty when I checked after the service 2) Coolant was low and there was an alert for this. I advised the technician but wasn't done. Had to return to Dick Lovett, buy anti-freeze and top up myself
